Chris Redfield

Biography

In a previous life, Chris once served in the U.S. Air Force where, apart from becoming a skilled pilot, he was taught the arts of hand-to-hand and knife combat. However, his strong sense of justice always being a source of conflict between him and his superiors, the talented pilot found himself kicked out of the U.S.A.F. For a while, Chris drifted around the country, embittered by the experience. He was a man without a purpose - until he met Barry Burton for the first time. Impressed by Redfield's abilities, talent and background, Barry recruited him as a Point Man for the newly-formed S.T.A.R.S. and stationed Chris with his own unit, the Raccoon City Alpha Team.

There, Chris honed his skills with renewed vigour and became a force to be reckoned with. After countless target practice sessions alongside Bravo Team's sniper, Forest Speyer, with whom he became close friends, he eventually surpassed his comrade and won the annual marksman competition. His favourite weapon is his trusty Samurai Edge, which Barry took to the Kendo Gun Shop for customisation. Chris has a little sister, Claire, who he is very protective of. He would fend off the abominations from hell itself to keep her safe. Unfortunately, this very situation is about to occur as the Alpha Team sets out to investigate the mysterious disappearance of Bravo Team in the Arklay mountains not too long ago.
