Character

Dr Samuel Isaacs is a man who has not only dedicated his life to science but also his humanity. I wouldn't necessarily describe him as an evil man but his dedication to his research has left him with very little compassion or thought for others. He is not impressed by crude banter that is displayed among his staff and although they believe his cool and calm demeanor to be a coping mechanism, they couldn't be further from the truth. The fact is that when the final curtains fall for them, Isaacs just won't care.

Isaacs doesn't mix well with others and absolutely loathes any kind of authority figures, especially those who stand in his way or display idiotic qualities by not listening to his recommendations. He hasn't got on with any of his superiors and feels it quite unneccesary that a man of his importance should have to answer to anyone else. He doesn't even get on with the AI that is installed in Umbrella's computers, instead prefering a computer which doesn't talk back to him.

Dr Isaacs is extremely meticulous as far as his research is concerned and does not believe in time constraints, which more often than not are usually totally unreasonable and only made to please the bosses. He prefers to do his work efficiently and thoroughly so there is little risk for mistakes. He is very patient when it comes to his experiments and likes to have time to refine his progress instead of rushing through it in haste purely for the sake of morbid curiosity.

Sam Isaacs is quite arrogant in the fact that he does believe himself to be superior to everyone else. His thoughts for most people are that they are nothing more than imbeciles who he enjoys treating with contempt. He trusts very few people and that trust is usually born from overhearing gossip, if you have anything negative to say about any of his superiors, chances are that he will trust you. Those he does trust shouldn't expect any special favours in return as they are just as expendable as anyone else. He puts his research before anything else, even human life and shows no remorse for sacrificing the lives of his fellow scientists to further himself.

Dr Isaacs is a devious man and more often than not always at least ten steps ahead of everyone else. He believes the future is in his hands, a future where he will be the figure of authority. A future where he will own his own armies, a future where he will control everyone and everything. More importantly, a future where Umbrella Corporation will belong to him.
