Game Endings

Original Endings

The original game has eight endings that may possibly occur when you finish the game, depending on which character you are playing as and on who you have saved (or not saved) throughout the game. Like the opening scene, these are live action. Read below to find out what happens in each of the endings.

Chris Redfield

A. Chris Alone

If you didn't bother to rescue Jill or Rebecca, this scene will be triggered. The helicopter flies in to save Chris, the mansion remains intact, and from the view inside Raccoon Forest the helicopter is watched by something as it leaves.

B. Chris & Jill

You must rescue only Jill for for this scene to occur. The helicopter flies in to save Chris and Jill, Jill rests her head on Chris' shoulder as he stares stonily outside. The mansion remains intact and once again the helicopter is watched as it leaves by something in Raccoon Forest.

C. Chris & Rebecca

You must rescue only Rebecca for this scene to occur. The helicopter flies in and picks up Chris and Rebecca. The mansion explodes underneath them as they briefly chat about the strange events they just saw, and the helicopter heads off into the sunset.

D. Chris, Jill & Rebecca

You must rescue both Jill and Rebecca for this scene to occur. The helicopter flies in to pick up everyone, and the mansion explodes as they fly away. Jill rests her head on Chris' shoulder, while he wipes his brow and smiles at Rebecca sleeping in the corner. He looks out and sighs as the helicopter heads off into the sunset.

Jill Valentine

A. Jill Alone

If you didn't bother to save Chris or Barry, this scene will be triggered. The helicopter flies in to save Jill, the mansion remains intact and from the view inside Raccoon Forest the helicopter is watched by something as it leaves.

B. Jill & Chris

You must save only Chris for this scene to occur. Exactly the same as the Chris & Jill ending above.

C. Jill & Barry

You must save only Barry for this scene to occur. The helicopter flies in and picks up Jill and Barry. The mansion explodes underneath them as they briefly chat about Barry's family, and the helicopter heads off into the sunset.

D. Jill, Chris & Barry

You must rescue both Chris and Barry for this scene to occur. The helicopter flies in to pick up everyone, and the mansion explodes as they fly away. Jill rests her head on Chris' shoulder, while he wipes his brow and smiles at Barry playing with his gun. He looks out and sighs as the helicopter heads off into the sunset.

Remake Endings

The REmake endings are almost identical to the original ones, minus a few little changes. Also, the REmake has 12 endings instead of 8, with some of the endings having a very minor change at the end of them. Read below to see what happens.

Chris Redfield

A. Chris Alone

The helicopter flies in to save Chris, the mansion remains intact, and a Tyrant eye blinks as it watches them fly away.

B. Chris & Jill

The helicopter flies in to save Chris and Jill, Jill rests her head on Chris' shoulder and he looks down at her, apparently asleep. the mansion remains intact, and a Tyrant eye blinks as it watches them fly away.

C. Chris & Rebecca

The helicopter flies in and picks up Chris and Rebecca. The mansion explodes underneath them as they briefly chat about the strange events they just saw, and the helicopter heads off into the sunset.

D. Chris, Jill & Rebecca

The helicopter flies in to pick up everyone, and the mansion explodes as they fly away. Jill rests her head on Chris' shoulder, he looks at her and then at Rebecca sleeping nearby. He stares out the window as the helicopter heads off into the sunset.

E. Chris & Jill (2)

The helicopter flies in to save Chris and Jill, and the mansion explodes as they fly away. Jill rests her head on Chris' shoulder and he looks down at her, apparently asleep. The helicopter heads off into the sunset.

F. Chris Alone (2)

The helicopter flies in to save Chris, and the mansion explodes as they fly away. Chris wipes his forehead and the helicopter heads off into the sunset.

Jill Valentine

A. Jill Alone

The helicopter flies in to save Jill, the mansion remains intact and a Tyrant eye blinks as it watches them fly away.

B. Jill & Chris

Exactly the same as the Chris & Jill ending above.

C. Jill & Barry

The helicopter flies in and picks up Jill and Barry. The mansion explodes underneath them as they briefly chat about Barry's family, and the helicopter heads off into the sunset.

D. Jill, Chris & Barry

The helicopter flies in to pick up everyone, and the mansion explodes as they fly away. Jill rests her head on Chris' shoulder, he looks at her and then at Barry playing with his gun nearby. Chris stares out the window as the helicopter heads off into the sunset.

E. Jill & Chris (2)

Exactly the same as the Chris & Jill (2) ending above.

F. Jill Alone (2)

The helicopter flies in to save Jill, and the mansion explodes as they fly away. Jill takes off her beret and leans back while the helicopter heads off into the sunset.
